lyrics
---bohemians---
look alive
y'all gonna come up in here
look inside
we didn't try to
come up here with visions of my own
this was some predicament
messages on my phone
that was convenient
medium's the messsage
give it meaning
i done seen it
y'all can build it up if y'all believe it
help me jesus
teach me how you are what we become
yeah i can see this
movin' in to somethin' y'all can love
it's a dream time vision
it's reminiscent of the in between time
listen
the mission was always love
always love
One of the best albums I’ve ever heard. Right up there with all the great albums of all time in our opinion. It is a daily occurrence to play something off this. And a treat to hear the whole thing. Do yourself a favor and grab this gem. Honor in Treason
Perhaps one of Carlos' more "cinematic" albums, in places "After the Storm Comes the Calm" has the feel of an old Hollywood blockbuster movie, decades before they were done with CGI type effects. Kind of an Space-Fusion Ben Hur in it's way.
Here we find some of the usual cast of characters you may find on a Vivanco album, the compound time signatures, far east sounding scales, and that urgent sense of abandon that seems to permeate all his recordings.
Darren Douglas Danahy
Just finished our first full listen to Far East. That was a trip. I started washing dishes. I ended on the couch suddenly stunned by the silence. I don't remember track changes, or much after track 2. I was just gone. It's that good. Carlos just took over my whole world for a moment in time, and it was wonderful. Honor in Treason
I'm not even going to choose a favorite track,

"Into The Light" is amazing though.
I hope to get well acquainted to your music johntomjoe
